KGP NFT is the creator of the world’s first editioned, multipage NFT photo books. Each release is an editioned collection of curated photos, some previously having been published in book form. Never before have multi-page photo-books been possible as NFTs. We have built technology to open the door for the medium and aim to engage with new artists and collectors. Content and edition are unique to the individual NFT and are able to be viewed, shared, or resold at the holders’ discretion.
Once our sale is live, you will simply connect your Metamask or Web3 enabled wallet to purchase during the mint. Some users will be granted presale access for being active and engaged in our community. For the earliest information on upcoming sales or pre-sale access, please visit https://kgpnft.com/ and sign up for our email list. Our first release is scheduled for March 2022.
While each NFT will have a standard selection of photos from the book, rare and uncommon versions of each book can contain special content ranging from extended editions, signature variant copies, or those containing unique 1/1 photographs expanding the work in the standard edition. Unique traits of each book are randomly assigned at the time of minting. Our photo books will display on secondary markets (like OpenSea) in a manner that exhibits the unique or exclusive traits of the edition - making secondary market valuations easier and scarcity more apparent for collectors.
Our extended schedule and roster will be released soon. Our first release is Marshall Scheuttle’s Morning Star. Our second release will be a collection shot by our founder, Kris Graves. As a publisher of fine art photo books (https://www.krisgravesprojects.com/), Kris Graves has worked with and published some of the greatest living contemporary photographers of our day. We intend to curate unique collections from within Kris’s network of photographers (e.g., Issac Diggs or Hannah Altman). While we will curate the first collections released on our platform, we hope to open the door for emerging contemporary photographers to eventually leverage our technology for their own editioned NFT photo books.
Pricing on the first release is TBA. Sign up for our mailing list at the bottom of the page to gain access to information including price, dates, and pre-sale access.
Collection size will vary, but for reference, our first release, Morning Star, will be limited to 550 editioned NFTs. No more than 550 will ever exist for this collection.
We have produced a custom web app viewer on our website that will allow you to view the book in a browser-based environment. In the coming months, we are producing a native iOS and Android app for viewing on your mobile device or tablet! We aim to make our NFTs interoperable with other platforms, and there will be incremental steps to enable our collections on popular viewing platforms as the technology evolves.
